Fnb debt consolidation dilemma

Hi, i have several loan accounts with FNB and the total repayments are high so I requested debt consolidation to settle all if not some accounts but they declined due to affordability. From my understanding debt consolidation will allow me to restructure the debt thus resulting in a less payment amount over a certain period. What i am currently paying in total is so high that a debt consolidation would give me a bit of relief. Kindly assist
