Fnb debited my account three times in one month
On the 25 November, fnb loans debited my account twice because I was one month ok arrears. The following day on the 26th they debited me again R4702 the debit order amount. This was unauthorised and an error on their side . They also admitted to it when I called them and spoke to a lady in fnb collections named Lerato Ntuli. I advised her to say that I cannot wait 48hours to get my refund because there are other debit orders that will be declining due to this . She then gave me her email saying she will escalate but never did. The following day when I see that the money is not in yet and my other debit orders have declined I chatted with them on the fnb and explained the situation. It is then when they changed the refund turnaround times to 5-7 business days . They kept giving me email addresses that are not helping me that all. That amount they took was supposed to go to my home loan . They are also sending messages saying my payment is late . WHAT IF I LOSE MY HOUSE. I need help I have also incurred unpaid fees charges on my account due to this. How could a bank I have always trusted treat me this way. I have worked for the bank before I know that with escalation this could have been handled the first day. I NEED HELP TO GET MY MONEY AS SOON AS TODAY. I don't know what to say to the home loans collection agents anymore they need the money. When they finally return it it will not be enough anymore due to the incurred penalty fees. This is not right at all. I am very much disappointed in fnb and that is why I even changed banks.
