FNB Debit Card Disputes useless - Senior Citizen - Full hip replacement refer

I am FNB client, a senior citizen, had a full arthroplasty hip replacement and recovering. With that said and highlighted as extremely important to my current health the following.

FNB staff namely Tshabelo and Natabelo at the ***** division on Sunday 28 November 2021 could not care less to be of assistance in advising on a workaround for funds debited to my Aspire account. In both instances where I had to call back, they did not even listen to what information and or help I was asking for, the moment they heard debit and card they merely put me through to the card division which is closed on a Sunday, every time I was cut off and had to call back again and hold on for ages, a senior citizen with limited funds with airtime about to run out. Why and how are these staff members trained to be as useless as this? A third attempt was made by myself and Lerato assisted, she listened, looked into the matter but could not assist either, and suggested I call the debit card division on Monday. This is of no use as my account is now overdrawn, and my funds are desperately needed for my pain medication as I am in extreme pain every day.

Debit Card Dispute: An email was consequently sent to - FNB Debit Card Disputes support. The FNB Debit Card Disputes support came back with a handbook reply, they will only respond in the next [5] business days!!

Previous experience with FNB support issues was horrific whereby I had to wait a month for a reversal, FNB support just ignore emails and don't bother to assist. Not this time again.

This is UNACCEPTABLE as I need the unauthorized debit done by LinkedIn to my account, currently showing in my detailed balance and reflecting as "reserved" - and I need this debit reversed with immediate effect. ** The relevant form and proof were both attached to my email sent to FNB Debit Card Disputes support. * Again, FNB does not care about their customers especially a senior citizen in dire need of assistance. * LinkedIn pushed through this debit order on the same day that I was still allowed to cancel the trial subscription. This action from LinkedIn was unauthorized..!!! * Within 10 minutes becoming aware of them pushing through the transaction I have cancelled the subscription, made screenshots and turned it into PDF as my proof.

Now, FNB, I need top-level management assistance in this matter tending to the reversal of this debit to my account in the amount of R750.00 - with IMMEDIATE effect. My health is at stake, I am in severe pain and recovering from a full hip arthroplasty and I can not move around. This amount is needed for my medication which I have to purchase tomorrow, 30 November 2021.

Please reverse the amount of R750.00 debited to my account by LinkedIn before close of business today.

Should you need any further information please send me an email.

Awaiting your urgent response.

Regards

Mrs. D C Engelbrecht

Greeting FNB Hellopeter Complaints,

Thank you for your reply.

May I please have an answer within the next 2 hours, which will be 12h00 today?

The relevant documentation has been submitted with my complaint, surely there is no need for this delay, it is a matter of doing their work.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Mrs. Dorothea C Engelbrecht
