FNB DEBICHECK: FALSE PROMISE EPIC FAIL

FNB’s DebiCheck mandate promises to give users the option of approving debit orders at the start of their contracts. Today a debit came off for R2800 - and I have tried all day to block or dispute it. I cannot get through to call centres. Although I got sms notification confirming the new debit, which also directs you to the FNB App to dispute/block. In the app, when you get to the DebiCheck mandate there’s no record of the debit. When you dial cal centre you wait foe more than an hour until airtime runs out. Then when you use the *120*321% cellphone banking USSD platform, you find th debit in you Debit Order section BUT when you try to block it tells you call your banker. It’s now 18:40 and after an entire day of failed attempts at blocking, the call centre is not manned so Now what?! The money is out of my account and causing other debits to bounce and I am pretty disgusted at the service and useless support APP and false promise of added security from this DebiCheck utility. It is useless and who will pay for the failed debits that bounced now? I’m so done with FNB’s shoddy service and the it’s last century style of capitalising without without conscience.

I have a business and personal account with this bank and it really disgusts me that I got tha personal engagement when I opened each, but now I have to try and sort with tele-prompt help menu, useless USSD app and futile Cellphone App service. It would be nice to speak to a human with some insight and a little concern.

FNB YOU ARE GOING DOWN THE TUBES!

Reviewer Update
Good day,
Thank you for the response. However, since then, every day that goes buy costs me money and already I have had to borrow money to cover my other debits. (FNB will of course still charge me for the failed debit fees.) BUT, here I am, two days later, still speaking to a faceless, nameless, unknown entities known as "FNB CUSTOMER RESOLUTION CENTRE" and "SERVICE RECOVERY."
How has this been escalated? Your DebiCheck facility failed to deliver. The money was already out of my account when the SMS prompt was sent. BUT, when I attempted to use the app to dispute, all my other debits reflected, just not the one in question. For the rest of the day I failed to make any headway on the app, with the USSD platform or any of your call centres. The money is gone.
And then to have to deal with some "SERVICE RECOVERY" entity which again then just "ESCALATED THE MATTER TO THE RELEVANT DEPARTMENT" just rubs salt in the wound and reinforces the impression that FNB has no regard for the flesh and blood customers they are meant to serve. Not one real person contacted me yet. Was SERVICE RECOVERY not the "relevant department" that the matter was referred to in the first place?
I am not at all happy about the shoddy service, the false promises, and the failure to deliver.
If there is any intention to resolve, I would like to speak with a human who can resolve this instead of getting vague auto-generated sms updates and buck-passing, pacifier emails with non-committal updates and no clear direction sent by blanket identities.
