FNB Customer Service Pathetic
3/1215 - I received 2 SMS's from FNB - 1, saying I must call a number re my Debit Order query( I had none) 2. - DO confirmation collected the 2/11/15. ( Confused)

I called FNB querying these sms's, as they were different to the normal FNB sms's I receive and I was worried it could be a ****.

I spoke a guy in ENQUIRIES who transfers me to SYSTEM MESSAGING. They transfer me to CELLPHONE BANKING who transfers me back to ENQUIRIES. After explaining the same thing 4 times, enquiries Lerato Mphame wants to transfer me to DEBIT ORDERS.

I request a supervisor/ TL as it is clear no one knows how to assist me or what is happening.

She left me on hold for 16min (probably hoping I would hang up), only to come back and tell its a new system they testing. This is what her TL Meek Bonginkosi told her. And he could not speak to me as he was busy with another call.

The entire call was almost 40min - just to be told its a test. FNB did not even inform me to ignore the SMS's if it was a test. And WHY are you testing systems on your clients!!! ( i ddnt bother asking the consultant as she probably would'nt know)

The service i received was pathetic.
