FNB Customer care service horrific

I took a personal loan with FNB back in 2010. I later lost my job and could not make any payments. The account was handed over to lawyers for collection. I have been getting calls from different law companies regarding this account claiming that the account has been handed over to them. The company that I have been making payments to for the past couple of months has been Brooks & Luyt attorneis. Lats week I got a call from a lady by the name of Busisiwe from GLA saying thwy have not recieved any paymetnt from me since Febraury. I have been making payments towards the account so I emails her the proof of payment ('***) and never got any feedback,.

I have sent emails to FNB to find out who exactly the account has been handed over to, all I keep getting is a reference number. (Reference number:925784). I called this number this morning - *** to follow up on the reference. First I spoke with a lady by the name of Margaret who rudely placed me on hold without saying why. I was then transfered to another line and spoke with Zandile. She told me that I needed to go to the branch and follow up on the request already logged. This obviously made no sense, I requested to speak to the team leader. Zandile transfered me to Nonku Mashala who said she is the 2IC. Nonku asked me to confirm a cellphone number I used 5 years ago and the address I had when I took the loan. Now I took this loan over 5 years ago and therefore cannot remeber such. I was told to go to a branch then to update my details then call the same number again from the branch, only then will they be able to tell me who is handling my account. This is the dumbest thing I ever heard, I just need to knoo if the payments I am making are going to the right people. Nonku refused to assist in any way, when I told her that I would take this further the line was cut.

This is terrible service. I called again and spoke to another lady who said that Wenzile Masina was handling the request and would get back to me - I have not hear anything. My debits go off tomorrow and I cannot continue to make payments without clarity.
