FNB *********
Hi there FNB *********
I just thought that I’d inform you of the following (as if you don’t know already due to my many many communications with you)
I used to take advantage of your easy account and savings account option and free transfers between them. As debit orders were set on the easy account, I would transfer money to those accounts ONLY when they were to go off. I called you one day to reverse a ********** debit order and cancel it along with another one. For the next 3 months, 2 debit orders were charged to my account (which I kept zero money in) and you charged ME R8.50 each for each bounce. R8.50 x 6 = R51. Despite me requesting each month, you still allowed the debit orders to go off and charged ME.
Tell me then. Is it FNB’s policy that customers pay for you being lazy?
But it continues. In the beginning of June I realised FNB was not going to cancel them and so I opened an account with Capitec. I have now paid all my money over to this account AND told you to close it several times (see photo).
Did you close it?
NO.
Well then again, must I, your customer, pay for my account to remain open when you refuse to close it?
The joy is that what you think the answer to the above question is, is irrelevant because if you want to tell me I owe YOU money for monthly “service fees” then you must be mistaken. Would I be typing this if there was ANY SERVICE AT ALL?
So I’m tired of asking you to close the account and now I take a new stance.
Go ahead! Keep charging that account service fees, take me to court I even dare you. I can prove your refusal and for that reason I don’t need to entertain your *******.
Oh and if any part of your management actually believes in good service, then contact me and I’ll give you my bank details to refund me for the above R51
Regards
An ex-client who says enough is enough
