FNB Credit Card Insurance
It is compulsory to take out insurance on your credit card, yet if you claim FNB severely delays the claim process for no reason.
I submitted my retrenchment claim at the beginning of April 2020 (this was for a normal retrenchment, not covid19 related), and to this date I have not received any feedback from FNB. I've phoned the call center several times and they confirmed that my claim has been lodge, but its still under pending and they can't provide any details or reason. So its now two and a half months since I submitted my claim and nothing from FNB while I still have to pay the debit order and insurance on my credit card. What is the purpose of retrenchment insurance then if FNB don't pay when one is retrenched? Seems to me like a money making scheme.
