FNB credit card *****: Appaling service, communication and empty promises.

FNB failing to deliver on promises relating to credit card *****. Appaling service, communication and unprofessional to say the least. Do not recommend anyone to join this bank and will be closing my account. 1. On request for a new credit limit FNB opened the wrong credit card account. 2. They proceeded to open 4 different credit cards on my profile and literally send me 4 different credit cards. 3. The above mistake took 3 months to correct despite numerous phone calls and emails from my side. 4. FNB private banker most of the time unavailable telephonically and not responding to my emails. 2. After months of back and forth communication, recieved at last another new credit card but did not have the option to set credit limit for my credit card through online banking services. 2. Credit card ***** committed in Dubai on my account overseas more than a month ago. I live in South Africa. Never travelled overseas and do not own a passport. 3. When credit card ***** reported, and I explained that my credit card was never out of my posession, nor did I approve any two-step-verivication I was told that the matter would be solved within 10-14 working days and my money (>R26k) returned to me. 4. No response from FNB after more than 14 days 5. Since spend more than R500 on airtime and data trying to get answers from them. 6. My private banker unreachable. When asked to speak to my private banker I was told that Marcel isn't available. My private banker is not Marcel. FNB changed my private banker without notification nor online communication. 7. Not getting anywhere with phone calls and emails. Calls being dropped most of the time by FNB, or they put me through to one after the other call operator with no resolution. 8. FNB promise to return calls in a day or 2, but fullfilling on promise more than a week later. 9. After more than a month they say I made or approved the ********** transactions and thus I lost >R26k and have to pay interest on this amount.

Please do not consider FNB as your bank!
