FNB Credit Card Closure | *********** consultants

FNB simply refuses to close my credit card, 6 months later. The account is showing as active on my credit check after I paid off everything owing and requested it to be closed.

The cancellation process was troublesome in itself because the consultant had closed my account and destroyed the card without checking if there were any pending fees. The consultant that made the error was Wisani from the Mall of Africa branch.

After a long struggle, my account was closed. An e-mail was sent to confirm the closure and a reference number was given, this is in June mind you.

Tell me why we are in December and FNB still won’t close my account? I called the credit card department and the consultant hung up.
