FNB Credit Card Affordability Flaud

I'm on FNB premier, my wife is on an straight forward Gold account. I would like to upgrade her to a Fushion Premier Spousal Account. However, she is unable to qualify for a Credit Card.

I can only move her if she brings a Credit Card along. We are not asking for much, literally a R 1000 credit limit.

Feedback from FNB is that they take the whole homeloan repayment into account. It doesn't even go off her account. I'm solely responsible for the homeloan, why does she get penalized.

With a Credit Card she will be able to enjoy a higher level on Ebucks, more transactions ate Engen, Checkers, Online.
