FNB Credit card
To whom it may concern.
Good day.
During the year of 2000 my business by name of Multimetal Industry was liquidated. The company had a credit card which was part of the liquidation process. This whole process was done by a legal instance (Kruger & Bekker, Middelburg, Mpumalanga, Tel: ********** ) and finalized. I was also liquidated during this process.
During August 2018 I received a call from an attorney company by name of Symington & de Kok claiming an excessive amount of money for this credit card. (Ref ********** )
This is 18 years down the line and the first time I am being contacted in this regard by Symington & de Kok or FNB. According to me this issue has been resolved during the liquidation process.
According to my knowledge as a previous businessman I am now protected by the new credit law that clearly states that if you were never suede within 3 years by the claimant, the claimant is no longer entitled to any money or payments. A financial institute like FNB and/or Symington & de Kok should know this law.
So, can someone from FNB and/or Symington & de Kok please contact me to resolve this issue. FNB, please stop 'selling' this dept to any attorney company that promises you that they will be able to reclaim your money!! This will never happen.
Will the person that contacts me to resolve this please be bilingual as I am Afrikaans speaking.
I hope we can clear this issue A.S.A.P!!
Kind Regards.
