FNB creating situations to charge unpaid fees
FNB has taken unpaid fees totaling R1000 over the last two months off my account while there has been money in the account. each time it seems to be some engineered or manufactured reason for the deduction. this month i got paid on the 24th Saturday due to Sunday being the 25th. on the 23rd a family member asked to borrow money, i transferred money from my credit card to my cheque account and did a instant transfer (no issues)(if the debit orders had come off already it should of taken that money), my debit orders came off on the 24th when my salary went in (even shows on my statement). a week later i get 3 unpaid fees, when i query it with the "premier banker" i get told they always take the debit orders off on the Friday if payday is on the weekend, this despite my debit order being on the 25th and they know full well i get paid on the 25th and have a tracker to see when my salary goes into my account they still charge me unpaid fees. the lady i spoke to would not even entertain my argument and eventually ended the chat without resolving my query.previously i used to get amazing assistance from the app chat but lately its been a disaster and it seems like they are looking for a reason to brush you off.
