FNB creating a security hazzard and an irritation with SMSes

To My Dear Favourite Bank I have complained to you privately about this and never received an acceptable response, sometimes no response, so now I am calling you out publicly. It is unacceptable that you message your clients via those long, random SMS numbers! Why is it not obvious to you that it is a bad thing to SMS your clients via a number that they cannot caller ID you with?! The obvious reasons are: 1. ********* can pretend to be you and there will be no way for the client to know the difference. In the past I have had SMS ask for copies of ID, proof of residence and suchlike. How am I supposed to know if something like that is not a phishing ****f if you do not use a number I can caller ID you with?! 2. It's a pest because the SMSes do not file with other communication from you, cluttering the inbox and making them difficult to find when necessary. It was bad enough that FNB cellular did this but now I am receiving these random number SMSes regarding important activity on my credit card. Please stop! Use a number I can caller ID you on.
