FNB Covid Relief a ****

I am extremely disappointed with the Covid Relief Funds made available to me. I have to pay back a monthly installment of almost R6000 after the National Pandemic. Yet the funds are not to my disposal and only there to cover my FNB commitments.

All my FNB commitments are covered by my Credit Life Insurance. Thus the funds are only there to help and protect FNB and not to assist me in buying food for my household. And, I have to pay this money off. How does this reliëf assist me in any way????

Good evening,

Thank you for getting back to me, I still however have concerns regarding the facility and how the loyal clients are being treated.
I wish to point out regulations in terms of the National Disaster Management Act and Directives.
It is ******** for the bank not to allow a payment break or holiday and to insist on taking a loan only to cover themselves.
I do seriously suggest that you reevaluate the intentions of your “Covid relief fund” that I have to repay when the “disaster” has been contained. As the loan is only to there to cover FNB and is of no assistance to the client in any way to cover other obligations and to have cashflow in a time where it is impossible for me to earn an income.
As I mentioned, I am a Labour Attorney. The CCMA closed prior to the Lockdown already and won’t be operating in Phase 4 either. Please explain to me, how my trust bank is going to assist me in this time. As the Covid Relief Fund is nothing but a ****, forcing me into more debt was the disaster has been contained.
This in itself is highly worrisome.
Regards,
