FNB COVID LOAN *****

I asked FNB for the Covid loan they were offering incase I had to use it. It came up on my banking app but it was always "greyed" out. My debits continued to come off my normal savings account. The Covid loan account was never used!

3 months down the line I emailed FNB to let them know I better not get debited for the use of the Covid loan. I did not get any response. Come 25th of August 2020, I get debited R731.10c for the "use" of the loan. Again, I never used the loan nor had the option to use it.

I called the bank. I have spoken to 3 different people in a week all giving me the same story that they are waiting for a response from their superiors. My last call this morning I waited a total of about 30 minutes before being able to speak to a human and not a recording... only to be put on hold once again whilst he was doing a follow up. He gets back to me and gave me the same story I was hearing all week. He put me on hold when I told him this needs to be resolved right now! Needles to say I was on hold for another 10 minutes only to get through to a machine asking me to choose options AGAIN... the call cut after that!

I want my R731.10c + interest back and I want the loan removed from account!
