FNB COUNTER SERVICE
I am practising as an attorney in Douglas. I am not a client of FNB, but some of my clients are and also Paypal. Like so many times before I am forced to make a peronal visit to the local branch only to find a queue. Normally only one attendant. I am not inclined to spend my valuable time in queues. An american client of mine used Paypal (as at occasion before) to forward some money. When trying to trransfer those funds into my trust account, I was advised by FNB that my profile has been blocked as a precaution to ***** and that I should visit my nearest branch. Which I did, only to find me in a queue of 5 - estimated waiting time 30 minutes at least. The visit only materialised after I was unable to contact the branch telephonically. I have no problem with banks and financial institutions "fighting" crime and *****, but then please not at the cost of persons. It should then streamline its service accordingly.
