FNB could improve on helping businesses
Hi. I don't want this to be long. Our business account was frozen, for a case not directly linked to us i.e a report of a report of a report, there is no clue of its origin. It went to the ***** dept and we have duly provided evidence including customer kyc, a South African ID of the customer. The customer had paid twice, both were flagged which is normal. The second case was resolved as not *****, while we are still expecting the unfreezing of our work account for this second. It's been with FNB for some time under Linda Pule - *** We wanted to reach out to her but sadly she does not answer. FNB please, it's uncomfortable to have us this way. I kindly request you help us notify her to please make it a two way conversation. Here is the ***-***
A second with Gumbi Moipone and ***-***
Gumbi kindly requested this from us and I allocated a staff to handle a response with the details that were requested.
1. From whom did you receive the funds from. (include bank details).
2. Why were the funds received? If for any goods or services
3. Proof of payment – from the person/company who made the payment to you.
4. Contractual agreements – where applicable
5. All/Any other supporting documentation to assist in the investigation.
We picked each one and answered, offered support from the counterparty 's bank as we have also been banking with them
Each customer had their kyc attached including email if they at any point felt the reason to confirm as customers have greater right to their freedom than we have over them
Finally I kindly request you help us notify her to please make it a two way conversation. Kind regards
Your quick action is appreciated
As at now one has been resolved, and one left. Linda's (***).
We swiftly sent responses to EVERY of her questions yet we are still locked
