FNB - corporate greed

FNB are disgusting, greedy and untrust worthy…. out of the blue First National Bank charge all businesses R25 for the monthly email statements, which have been free for +26 years. Apparently FNB customers were warned about this in the annual fees letter, which has mentioned a charge for email statements for about 10 years. R25 for an email!! – which technically costs FNB nothing or minimal with their existing IT infrastructure. Are they going to start charging businesses for their communication emails? When I asked that the business be refunded, the consultant imp**** it was a waste of time. I cannot understand why FNB had to be greedy and take R25, it was so much easier just to be rude. As FNB were, when they abruptly stopped sending out FNB Credit Card statements, a few years ago, but at least they did not rip-off their customers on that occasion. Thoughtless corporate greed!

The First National Bank FICA department are also rude beyond belief. Your FNB business bank account can be shut down, without a discussion, as and when they feel it suits them. Yet, they only respond to 1 out of 10 emails, if you are lucky. Two months, we are still waiting to hear, if all the submitted documents are correct and that everything is in order, and we can relax. Even though we kindly asked for acknowledge or confirmation of receiving the email & documents.
