FNB Cornubia - ID Application and Biometrics

FNB Cornubia is advertised as being available for Smart ID and Passport renewals. I have done my ID and Passport application via the DHA website, paid the fees via FNB online banking, however when it comes to booking an appointment with FNB Cornubia to do my biometrics it offers a 2 week availability window only and says there are no time slots available. The phone number FNB has given me to contact Cornubia directly leads to a JHB call center. The number the call center gave me for Cornubia does not exist. There are countless complaints on Facebook about not being able to contact Cornubia or get an appointment to do biometrics, and people who have made the effort to go to the branch in person have been met with rudeness and even asked for bribes in order to assist with biometrics. So where to now FNB? This has been advertised for months and now not only have i made payment but I have no way of actually processing my ID or even contaDHA? What is going on? How do I proceed...
