FNB consultants working with ****mers to **** their customers.
First National Bank consultants working with ****mers to **** their customers. I made a call to the bank to dispute a debit order that has been running on my account, before i could explain the phone got cut. 10min later I was called back by a man who said he was calling me back to assist with my query as we had been cut off. He proceeded to tell me that the call is being recorded and asked me to confirm my name, ID and card details, i asked him if he was an FNB consultant he assured me that he needed my information for the authentication process, we continued on the phone he asked me for the CVV code on my card and said the people that are debiting my account have my card details and he can't block them if he does not have my card information. He asked me the balance in my account and requested me to approve a transaction on my app which was a purchase for $2700, the transaction failed and while we were on the phone he requested me to approve another transaction of R20 000. I asked him why I needed to approve these his answer was that he was trying to help me block these people and that he cant help if i don't approve the transactions from the ****mers. the R20 000 failed too and he entered R4000 which eventually went through and he hung up. When i called FNB they told me that the 087 number that called me is not a FNB number and that they cant trace it. I later saw that I had been ****med but the person acquired my details and my enquiry request from FNB. the only thing FNB did was to block my accounts and tell me that they will run an investigation that is going to take 30 days to resolve and they do not guarantee that I will get my money back.
as a customer I was compromised by FNB, my money and information is not safe with tFNB. some of their ex/current employees are operating with internal employees to **** people. The ****mers are highly trained professionals with full information from the inside. to start the investigation i suggest they start question the consultant i spoke to first because she most defiantly gave out my information and the reason for my call.
