FNB consultant telling me to move my money to another bank

So I have just arrived back from working in Europe for the last 4 years. I came back with a sizable savings just shy of 700k. For the last four years this account has been topped up regularly from my European bank account. I went on the FnB app to apply for a credit card. Application was declined. I think ok maybe just an app issue. I now phone them and get told the same thing. I went into the FnB branch in century city to try and see the bank manager etc. I get taken to a consultant. I explain to the consultant what I need and she tells me "oh but you have no credit history" I say , I know that's why im here applying for a CC. I get told its not possible to get a credit card for myself. I said mam with all due respect there is 700k in my account and I have been with you for the last 15 years. Can you not give me the benefit of the doubt. Im not looking 1 Million line of credit, maybe like 50k. I say to the consultant that this is ridiculous and it seems as if I should move my money to another bank . To which the consultant said YES!!, nodded and agreed I should leave FnB. Fantastic service as always FNB, Thank for nothing. Moving to standard bank. Do not use FNB
