FNB CONNECT - THE MOST DISGUSTING CELL PROVIDER IN SOUTH AFRICA - DO NOT CONSIDER PORTING TO FNB

For the last few years I have been on Telkom Mobile while the signal sometimes leaves much to be desired I still enjoyed the free minutes I got when people call me which is a very nice little value add they have. With my job unfortunately I do need to use my phone a lot, so when fnb contacted me about their new FNB Connect packages I was interested, they first tried to sell me the top up 50 and I said that would never be enough I asked what the highest package and the sales consultant said the top up 100, I ended up taking it and porting my number. shortly after this i saw a billboard with the unlimited package for R399. I called in and requested the change. this was 2 month ago.

Firstly I never got the 100 minutes, secondly I had to call in 3 times to try get the unlimited package activated, they still never did it. when I eventually called in on the 23rd of October the said they are sorry it will take effect from the 25th and the debit order would run, the 25th came and went and I called in again as no one evr got back to me. an amount was debited off my acount and still no minutes, so I bought minutes and data through their online banking app. I called in again and said they clearly cannot resolve this, refund my money and I will move to a service provider that can actually handle this.

Eventually someone got back to me about the refund and said the unlimited package is now activated and I can check the minutes, which I did, 44 000 minutes and I was happy. only two days later now the sim card has been terminated, so it has effected my work I have bought airtime and data which is now gone and still not received a refund, not only that I am sitting with a dead sim card so if an emergeny comes up with either me or my family I have no way of contacting anyone as their "porting team and Managers" are only in on Monday, it is Saturday morning and I have had no phone for two days.

I now hate officially FNB anf FNB connect, I strongly suggest no one falls for their terrible service and completely uselss network. stay where you are you will only regret it if you move to FNB connect. I will also be closing any acounts I have with FNB as they have proven to be the most expensive bank i have ever used.

Leaving FNB connect and FNB will be the best decision I ever make as it means I will never have to deal with them and their call centres ever again.
