FNB Connect takes 20 days to deliver a SIM card - and there is nothing wrong with that?

I have dealt with FNB Connect on several occasions, and unfortunately it is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Customers considering purchasing through FNB Connect should think twice.

Most recently, I ordered a SIM card on a cellphone contract on 22 December. The website clearly stated that delivery would take 3–5 days. After five working days had passed, I phoned to follow up, only to be told that delivery would only take place sometime next year, before 14 January.

I understand that this is over the Christmas period, but a 22-day wait to deliver a SIM card is completely unreasonable. I asked whether there was any alternative solution, and the only option offered was to cancel the order and go elsewhere. That is unacceptable.

This is false advertising on the website and a dishonest way to trap customers into orders that are not fulfilled within the stated timeframes. If it were not for the eBucks system, I would seriously consider cancelling most of my business with FNB.
