FNB connect services false congratulations offerings
Have been banking with FNB for few years. The service was great until it came to FNB connect one of the worst people or departments to deal with . All my accounts have been upto date and I have no unpaid debit orders . My Bankinh app had offered me A device for R1500. I have not taken the offer until August so I got approved and qualified for the device I had chosen first time they canceled my application with no reason . Second time I qualified again with a message congratulating me however be aware that when FNB approves a device and tells you to await delivery this is a big catch as it goes to another department called connect credit team . Although I qualified for my device they declined it with no grounds. They claim due to credit criteria this is a Frase used when they don't have a reason that they use which is totally false . I just got approved a brand new vehicle and I got an increase on my credit card few days after they declined my device application. FNB Connect is a terrible department to deal with they do not provide you with a reasonable reason for decline. They cannot justify there cancelation as my credit status is good and I have been getting many offers which I did not take but I wanted to stick to my own bank unfortunately FNB connect credit team just lost my business. I have other service providers reaching out and offering me deals but my own bank turned me down with total disregards towards there clients. Be very careful when applying for a device as the congratulations is not actually something to be happy about they still have a manual credit department that finds a way to decline or cancel you device on connect services. I Had to escalate this issue to my private banker who is always assisting me but he also seems to be scratching his head as to why are they keep canceling the device . I had forwarded him all my records according to ITC . Connect service have no grounds on there reasoning to decline.
