FNB Connect - rather don't order a phone with them, they should stick to banking!

What a terrible experience, incompetency of the highest order.

I ordered my phone online with sim card. Gave contact details for delivery.

Received an sms that the delivery has been cancelled as they could not reach me, they did not bother to check the contact details on the application.

They then resent it and I received it. OK good I thought.

Could not connect to the network, called the contact centre

Answer: wait 24hrs

24hrs later, cannot connect to network. Call the contact centre.

Told to register on network and reboot.

Still cannot connect to network, call contact centre (disconnected 3 times)

Finally reach a consultant.

Answer, they will log a call with the technical team.

Request to speak to manager, wait on the phone for 10 minutes.

Speak to Manager

Answer: Your sim was cancelled and I dont know why.

OMG!!!!

So deliver a phone with a sim card that is cancelled?

My answer, please collect your phone and sim card and cancel my order.

Conclusion? Stick with networks that know what they are doing!
