FNB Connect Port Out Issues!

I am trying 2 weeks now to Port my FNB Connect Sim Card to MTN just to no avail. I was on a Talk Max contract. So I asked thrm to port to MTN so they said I need to be a prepaid customer. Changed to Prepaid. Now when I want to Port the number to MTN I don't receive a OTP for approval. Went to the MTN store and they said FNB Connect must release the simcard and accept the request for Port. When I put in *147# and select Port my number I just get a msg there is no pending port out for this number. It can't be this difficult??
