Fnb connect **** and decieved about data costs

I moved over to fnb connect a few months ago, there data packages were more competitive than my previous cellular provider.

Today I need to recharge my data bundle and data prices have more than doubled in price.

I called the connect department and was told that it was a promotion that has now ended.

I was not informed that the data was a promotion or I wouldnt have left my previous provider.

I log on to the fnb website and the "promotion" data prices are still being advertised on their website.

I feel like ive been conned into moving over to fnb with their false advertising and calling it a promotion now.

Good Day Mr Douman We refer to your complaint reference number ********** related FNB Connect Once Data Bundle prices. FNB Connect launched promotional once-off data bundles for three months in June 2016 and extended the offer for an additional two months due to the success of the campaign. As of 20 November 2016, the data bundles promotion has officially ended. The revised once off data bundle prices remain competitive and customers have the added benefit of up to 40% back in eBucks on their data bundle purchases, based on their eBucks reward level. Our main objective continues being able to provide our customers with superior value and to increase customer satisfaction, convenience and lessening customer angst.
