FNB Connect is useless
I ported to FNB connect in the space of ten minutes through a sales person at FNB Kilarney. I was told if I want to port back to Vodacom or MTN it wouldnt be problem. I used them for about a week until i made a decision to port to MTN due to my data roaming constantly giving me issues with FNB connect. I tried porting to MTN twice with both times failing. It was a waste of time and money standing in ques and buying sim cards on both occasions. I went through to FNB in Eastgate to express my frustration where i waited to speak to someone on a phone call. This person told me that they would sort it out in the next 24 hours. Two days later I got a call saying that I cannot port over unless I have been with FNB connect for two months. It has been three months and for the third time now I have tried to port wasting time and money again and and it still wont let me port. My data roaming still keeps giving me hassles. All i want is to get off this terrible network. I appreciate FNB wanting to get their hands in every pie possible but this has left a bad taste in my mouth for FNB as a brand. Maybe sticking with banking as their core function wouldn't be such a bad idea ?
