FNB Connect has the worst service ever!!! Don't ever use any of their services!!!

I was on vodacom prepaid and decided to try the FNB Connect R399 unlimited call package and ported my original number. Later I decided to take a contract phone and use the same number, 3days later I couldn't receive or make calls and their service centre couldn't find the problem so I cancelled the contract.

I decided to terminate my R399 package as well so I could get a contract phone from Vodacom. FNB converted my contract back to prepaid on 1 March 2017 but I can't receive sms or make calls since the conversion. Vodacom needs to send an sms to my number but they can't do that because FNB Connect is *********** and have no clue as to what they are doing. Everyday I'm the one who has to call them for an update and they always say they are working on it, meanwhile I am losing out on business calls and changing the number is not an option. The service at FNB connect is appalling, they are *********** and completely clueless of what they are doing.

My advice to you is to never use FNB Connect services or you will regret it!!

My query is still not resolved, I'm going through a weekend without receiving or making calls. You people are terrible, your service is really pathetic and you don't even bother to update me. Clearly someone doesn't know how to do their job there at FNB!!!

My frustrations don't seem to end with FNB, your FNB Connect team/Porting department has done it once again. After a long battle with your technical team trying to get my number to receive inbound and outbound calls plus sms's, on Tuesday 07/03/2017 a Lebohang Sehlako managed to figure out that there were settings that were not enabled from your side which is what I've been arguing with the other guys for a while.

My problem didn't end there, as previously stated I need my number ported back to the Vodacom network. I went to vodacom this past Wednesday 08/03/2017 and they sent a request to FNB for my number to be ported back to them. I immediately received an sms that says'' THE FOLLOWING PIN:64146 CONFIRMS THAT YOU MAY CONTINUE WITH YOUR REQUEST TO PORT ONTO THE VODACOM NETWORK.'' Now Vodacom told me I should expect another sms confirming that the port has been approved. I phoned FNB and advised them of this and they told me it takes exactly 24hrs for the port to go through.

The next day on Thursday I phoned FNB to check if the port had gone through and spoke to a Tumi at porting dept who said it should go through she will check what the problem was. I wasn't satisfied with that answer so I called again and this time spoke to Mbali at FNB connect who is very opinionated and who insisted that the way we did the port is incorrect. I need to go to Vodacom and buy a new starter pack and sms Port#serial number to ********** 287. The guy at the Vodacom shop was not convinced but said we should try it anyway. I tried this and it was immediately rejected and I had to contact vodacom customer care who advised me to phone FNB as the way I was advised by Mbali is incorrect, they could see in their system that a request was sent to FNB on Wednesday and is still pending approval.

I phone FNB porting department and this time spoke to a Phumzile who told me she can't pick it up in the system and ask myself who sent me the sms with the pin she can't pick it up?

I have been banking with FNB all my life and I've never been this dissappointed. Your team is *********** and they toss people around and they always give contradictory statements.

IF MY NUMBER IS NOT PORTED TODAY, I AM TAKING ALL MY BANKING TO ANOTHER BANK!!
