FNB Connect data price increase 257%

WOW ... i literally am dumb struck with this.

Never would have imagined FNB to do something like this.

I was persuaded into taking the R399 unlimited calling sim card, and with that i can top up 2GB of data for R95 ... (what a good deal)

Well, i even set up an AUTO top up with online banking for this 2GB every month (for next 12 months) ... and guess what ...

That price changed to R245 without notice!

By chance i went to check my auto top up was gonna work at the end of this month, and lo and behold, the price is not R95, but R245 !!!!!!

Phoned Connect, and all they said was, "Sorry sir, our prices went up 2 days ago"

Asked to speak to manager, and got the standard nonsense of "ALL our managers are in a meeting".

Clearly, the meetings are way more important than customers!!!!

FNB (Connect) ... let's hope you resolve this one properly, in keeping with the "great" bank that you are.

I will give you the chance, failing which, everything will be cancelled... (i am sure there are plenty of people that's gonna cancel)!!!
