FNB Connect Cancellation Issue

I've recently joined FNB Connect, which I'm being billed for monthly. However, all I've been experiencing since joining FNB Connect is frequent data and calling issues- followed by annoying sms' from FNB stating that they are aware of these ''intermittent data and calling issues'' and that they are working on resolving it.

My patience has run out with waiting and I'm at that point where I wish to cancel my subscription effective immediately. Whats even more pathetic is that, after several attempts to get through to the FNB customer services call-centre, the call keeps disconnecting (a perfect example of those ''intermittent calling issues!).

It doesn't make any sense to be billed monthly for a service that does not exist. Connection issues, data issues, calling issues. But conveniently, somehow FNB Connect has NO ISSUE with debiting money out of my bank account on time- every time. Ontop of that, the consultant at the FNB branch reminded me that I will be paying a penalty fee for the cancellation. I can't say I'm happy with this, but will gladly do so if it means I'm no longer on the FNB Connect network.

Kindly advise how do I proceed with the cancellation of my subscription?

Extremely dissatisfied customer,

Warren
