FNB Connect - beware of the surprise ******ionate bill

Beware! FNB Connect charge ******ionate data-roaming rates by surprise you with a ridiculous bill. I travel internationally often for work and as we all know, internet is essential these days. I use data roaming often and expect to be charged reasonably higher rates. I have travelled to China, Germany, & Kenya this year using data roaming with no exorbitant charges. I then recently travelled to Portugal & Dubai for 1 week and come back to a R36 000 data roaming charge?? For 1 week they charged >R250/MB??? In context, this is more than 2 x my yearly cell phone package bill?? About 50 times what you'd expect to pay with Vodacom or others for data-roaming in most countries. I contacted them to find resolve only to be told that I accepted the T&Cs and I have to pay. All this after setting a R1500 Sim limit on their platform to protect against this. This is absurd!
