Fnb connect
Today around 12 midday I went to fnb 359 to get a sim card. Was helped by one lady I don't know the name. I told her that I'm here to get a sim card and reverse and stop a tracker debit order. Everything went well. She reversed the debit order and gave me the sim card. I went on with my shopping. Later on when I put the fnb sim card I received a message saying that I have changed my incontact I was shocked because no where in our conversation did I mention anything about changing my in contact neither did she. I have no plans of changing my in contact to the fnb connect number because that card will be used by my son. What upset me the most is the fact that the card does not even have network and as I write this review I have not received any of the 4 transactions I did after getting it. And when I try to call the fnb number it goes straight to voice mail. The time now is 19:48 and I do not think I would want to change my incontact to a network that take so long to send smses. Now I would like to know why was my incontact changed without my consent and why was it not explained to me as a Customer. As I am writing this my cellphone banking is on my Mtn number my online otps are going to Mtn number and my incontact is going to an fnb number that to me does not make any sense why would I want to be doing banking all over these network and not just use one reliable network. Please can someone explain to me what the hell is going on because if I were to change someone's number on the system it would make more sense to change incontact, cellphone banking as well as online banking for convenience. I went to do my shopping today because I did not want to go to town this weekend as it is going to be very busy. Now either I go to town or call their terrible call centre that takes forever for calls to be answered to get this nonsense sorted out and whose airtime will I be using or whose petrol will I be using to go to town not to mention my wasted time and ruined weekend.
