FNB Connect

I received a call from FNB Connect consultant who sold me the benefits of signing up with FNB Connect as I'm FNB existing client. The consultant informed the connection to FNB Application woud be free, the whatsapp would be free and I will get 100 free minutes for monthly premium of R100 odd rands. Thobile Nhlapo advised that I was misinformed about the free apps and that's when I informed I expect FNB to deliver on it's promise as per the information I received from the consultant that called me (Don't have the consultant's name but it's a male)

On Thursday night my MTN number was successfully ported to FNB Connect, on Friday I tried to use the allege free whatsapp and the FNB application without getting any joy. The consultant I spoke to on Friday named Thobile Nhlapho informed it will take 24 -48 hours to provide me with feedback, after complaining about her turn around time, she advised she will escalate the matter to the deparment that deals with adminstration, where they would need to listen to the call and would revert to me by Monday 19/09/16 with feedback but she never did.

Today 20/09/16 I called FNB Connect again I specifically asked to speak to Thobile Nhlapho, first thing she said to me was that she has not received feedback. She did not show any courtesy for failing to deliver on her promise of getting back to me by Monday as she promised. I then asked her to advise what do I have to do in the meantime to access all the promised free applicaton, she told me that the device I'm using has problem with APNs and that I should reset it to default, I responded by posing a question what will happen on the current application after I reset to the device to default settings, shen then told me to stay on the line while she seeks assistance, I was placed on hold for good 15 min plus and upon her return she told me everyone she is busy there is no one to assist me. She further accused me of refusing to re-booting the device which she never suggested and I never refused to do.

I informed Thobile Nhlapho she is the image and representative of FNB, thus she ought to conduct herself that promotes the image of FNB and she doesn't have to render me a Putrid service like she has been, she then told me she is not allowed to argue with clients and she is going to terminate the call. I told her she is not going to terminate the call as she has not assisted me with my query but she ended the call abrutly so.

Reviewer Update

Hi Daffnie Govender.

To date I have not received a satifactory service from FNB Connect with regards to my complain and to make matters worse even Teboho Dikgale from Premier Banking informed me he has escalated this matter to senior personnel without getting any joy and Lebohang Sehlako also advised me of same. Lebohang Sehlako contacted me again on Friday 30 September 2016 to further advise she was on leave but she handed over this matter to be resolved in her absence but nothing was done. As I'm fed up and disgusted with PUTRID Service I have received thus far from FNB Connect, I demand my contract be cancelled with immediate effect and my number number be released for Porting to the Network Provider I have chosen.

Would you kindly promise my number will be released without any hasitation and delay as I don't want anything to do with FNB Connect. I have been with FNB for the past 5 years and I would like to remain with FNB purely becasue of the Good and Professional Service I always get from FNB Premier Banking and I will not hesitate to switch to another bank if my humble requested is not fulfilled.

Regards
