FNB completely useless when it comes to protecting your accounts from unauthorized debit orders

FNB is not in control of their systems, do not think that have security from unauthorized debit orders when banking with FNB, you don't, they are useless and powerless and will look forward to charging you debit order reversal fees rather than ensure your accounts are protected from unauthorized debit orders. LEAVE FNB!!!

I have had African Bank that I took a loan with attempt an incorrect debit order... the instalment was supposed to be R3000, i paid large sums of money into the loan to pay it faster.. so they reviewed my instalment, I called then to ask them to leave the instalment as its on the contract. one day I get a notification on my app where FNB asked me to approve a debit order mandate of R1009 which I declined and went on to chat to their consultant on the bank app, where I notified them that I received an incorrect amount debit order that I rejected, they need to ensure this debit order doesn't go through to my shock FNB allowed a debit order which I rejected to go off my account. this continued for a couple of months. each time I called FNB customer care asked them to confirm if I approved the debit orders and they said no, yet they allowed the debit orders to go off my account. when I asked them to reverse the debit orders they wanted to charge me for debit order reversal fees for their own mistakes which I refused. after numerous months of dealing with the same issue I wrote an email to both African Bank and FNB instructing one to stop debiting and incorrect amount and the other to stop allowing access to debit my account. this email fell on deaf ears, then I resolved to move my business elsewhere.

No one from FNB has made contact. I have laid a complaint with your CEO Complains department, another useless department that takes ages to reply and get back to clients complaints, is toothless when it comes getting transactional info from internal departments... and your CEO complaint department resolved that they are powerless when any credit sends a NADO Debit order, even if the clients rejects the debit order mandate on then FNB app, the funds will still be debited regardless of the clients instruction. Basically rendering FNB systems useless and unable to protect the clients money from authorized debit orders.
