FNB commits *****

Stay away from FNB!! They have charged my account with over R11,000 "items unpaid" fees while my account was never once in a negative balance. Balance of R10,000 in the account, they take off R500 "unpaid fees". NOTHING WAS UNPAID!

While trying to get this resolved, they notice that Spar has made reversals on online grocery purchases to deduct an amendment amount. Those amounts went off my balance, got reversed, and a new amount was charged. According to FNB, those reversed amounts should never have come back to me. And in 24 hours they left my account on a (negative) -R24,500. So I paid for a year's groceries twice??

They simply send long emails with big words, terms and conditions of account and account fees attached. BUT THERE WAS MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT FOR EVERY TRANSACTION. I don't care how many days it took to clear. There was money in the account when it was charged, when it was pending and money left after it was cleared.

To top it off, I can't put money in my account, so all my debit orders will bounce this month.

PATHETIC FNB!! STAY AWAY!
