FNB CIPC

I'd like to hear if anyone has ever got this fnb web page to work? I've tryed it a couple of times, and it crashes on the first submit. An error has occurred, please try again later.
Do people eventually just go into a branch and sit about while someone there does it? I've never dealt with FNB before, and this seems to be a poor start.

I did this, with the same results, so I switched from the linux machine to a windows ten one, and tried again using edge. This too failed. Finally I went to a branch, and asked to do it there, but they said it can only be done online. Which in my experience is not true. However, the cipc site itself, while massively non-intuitive, does appear to work. start here:

25 Sept 2020, 12:06OK, where to start. It's been a journey. First thing to note is that the CIPC website cannot store a 20-character password. It cuts it shorter, and then when you enter the full 20 characters, tells you you entered it wrong. 12 characters works OK.
Next thing to note is that Nedbank also offer to do the cipc step for you. I haven't tried, but frankly, I doubt theirs works either.

In any case, I got the company registered at the end of August. All done right, just need to open an account for it. Well no. I get the feeling banks don't make much money off most small businesses, so they're not particularly interested. Well the other explanation is that they couldn't phone me because I get really poor cell reception at my home, and they don't know how email works.
I app**** online multiple times to several banks, all with absolutely no response. Eventually I walked into a Nedbank and asked to speak to a consultant. They were busy, but took my number, which went as you might expect. Earlier this week I again app**** to various banks through their websites. Capitec's Mercantile bank did actually get back to me, but they seem to be geared towards larger enterprises, too pricy for me. Finally this morning I got a call from an FNB consultant, who opened an account for my company as if it was the easiest thing possible.
A final note, Tyme bank looks great, but they only bank businesses that are not registered with the CIPC.
