FNB CHARGING UNPAID FEES ON FAILED DEBIT ORDERS IN SPITE OF THEM BEING BLOCKED

When Covid 19 hit us and lockdown was imposed I lost all income because my business is 100% event based. FNB kindly helped with a Covid relief loan. All my payments became due when we moved to level 3 lockdown but I am still battling to generate an income. In spite of the fact that FNB Life insurance is paying my accounts and Credit Card FNB continued to put their debit orders through resulting in unpaid fees being charged. On 24th of October I contacted FNB and requested all debit orders be blocked on my account until further notice and received email confirmation from FNB to this effect. On the due date all debit orders were allowed to go through and once again unpaid fees were charged and this has happened every month to date in spite of me blocking and having confirmation thereto of all debit orders. I receive regular calls from the various departments requesting payment and apologies for the calls when asked to check their system as to the insurance payment. FIRSTLY WHEN THE INSURANCE STARTED PAYING THESE ACCOUNTS THE DEBIT ORDERS WERE NOT NECESSARY BUT WERE STILL PUT THROUGH. THIS RESULTED IN UNPAID FEES BEING CHARGED ON BLOCKED DEBIT ORDERS. ALL THESE FEES ARE A RESULT OF AN ERROR FROM FNB SIDE FOR WHICH I HAVE BEEN CHARGED. THESE FEES NEED TO BE REVERSED ON MY ACCOUNT AND THE DEBIT ORDER STOPPING ENFORCED TO AVOID FURTHER DEBIT ORDERS GOING THROUGH.
