FNB charging me R110.00 per month for an unpaid Debit Order that I instructed them to stop in April 2020

FNB busy charging me unpaid debit order fees of R110.00 for the debit order I have instructed them to stop it. This is ridiculously day light *******.

I had called FNB Private Clients Desk in July 2020 when I placed myself under Debt Review for them to stop all debit orders going through my Cheque Account since I am no longer working nor getting any salary to the same account. I further indicated that all my accounts are now being handled by a Debt Counsellor so non of the debit orders to be allowed.

Amazingly, there is a Telkom Debit order which has been attempting since then and they (FNB) repeatedly charge me R110.00 for the same debit order. They can see the account is already in negative balance and no funds are coming into the account since April 2020 but they continue allowing the debit orders so that they can charge their unpaid fees.

May you rectify your systems. I don't want any debit order to go through my cheque account and I don't expect any charge of unpaid debit orders since I am not getting any funds on the account.

So in actual sense, when I get a job and tends to re-use the account, I am expected to pay a whooping +/-R5000.00 of negative balance on the account just because of the debit orders I instructed them to be stopped from my account.

This is ridiculous. Please fix this. I don't want any Debit order on my account and I am not expecting any charges of unpaid debit orders. I am tired of this.

FNB does not respect clients queries, Bottom line. Below is the response I received after writing my complaint on Hellopeter. Amazingly after receiving this promise, on the 29th the debit order tried again and they FNB charged me again. They promised to be rectifying the problem but that was a total LIE to me as a client. I am speechless.
