FNB charges service fee for no service
I opened an account with FNB at the beginning of January after waiting in a queue for 1.5 hours and spending more than an hour with the agent. SIX weeks later they still couldn't give me a credit card. Despite many promises my wife never received her documentation to open a spousal account. I instructed them to close the account, but never received confirmation. Now they are sending me threatening SMS's that the account is overdrawn. It is probably their service fees. Do you get the irony? I'm being charged a service fee for not receiving service! Oh, take note; their artificial stupidity infers that people without debt do not have money - Investec Bank gave me an account with credit card delivered in 5 days - go figure.
