FNB charges debt protection without permission
in January I received a call for Optional debt protection on my cheque account which I declined. A few days later, they called me again for the same service and I declined yet again. Then a few days later I see a charge on my account for Opt Debt Protection. I queried this on 28/1 and was told to speak to debt protection - could they not have forwarded my query? I emailed debt protection on the 29/1, then had to send another email on the 4th as there was no response. I received a lame response on the 4/2 saying it had been cancelled. I sent another email on 5/2 stating that I want to know who gave them authority to debit my account and I wanted it reversed. No response... I still have not received my money. They basically just sweep their mistakes under the rug and forget about them. Pretty useless bunch if you ask me.
