FNB changing systems without notice or recourse

I use FNB's online banking to pay bills. While travelling, my cellphone doesn't work so I can't receive OTPs. This was fine, because I could use my secondary method - email.

Until FNB suddenly and without warning changed it so there is no secondary option available. Being overseas and without a working cellphone, I am unable to call them or change anything (because it requires OTPs to your phone).

I am now unable to pay my bills.

Contacted support - no response.

Until now I've been happy with FNB, but changing systems without informing customers or recourse is unnaceptable.

Response to formal complaint received. It is obvious that FNB doesn't care that it changed its functions without notice. They advised that I should call them. If anybody took note of my complaint, it would be obvious that I CANNOT CALL. I am making a further complaint on Hello Peter and will continue to do so every day until this is corrected.

Painful and unnecessary experience. FNB staff were friendly, but repeatedly failed to understand the crux of the issue. After a few days, it was rectified. I received no correspondance that this had been done, so it may have been coincidence or FNB actually fixed it. Either way, it's resolved.
