FNB Cession Cancellation Letter

To Whom It May Concern,

I requested a cession cancellation letter from FNB for a Student Loan from 1996. While I understand that the policy / loan is dated almost 20 years ago and there is no visibilty on the loan (as it is archived), what I cant understand is that I have called 3 times already and each time it is as if I am calling for the first time. The reference number for the calls are useless and cannot be tracked. Also, my profile cannot hold any comments to identify that these calls have been logged and the requests made. I also cannot get a mail stating the request is in process, so I just have to hold on in the hope that my request has been processed (all while I lose money on the policy that I would like to release into a better performing account).

The fact that FNB has no way of tracking these requests / sending the customer a notification that the request is in process is beyond me. What kind of systems do they have and what kind of a proffessional business ar they running. An example would be Woolworths who confirms any complaints logged with a SMS and e-mail advisign you it is being dealt with and a traceable reference number. FNB - you HAVE NOT HELPED ME!
