Fnb causing a huge embarrassment and leaving me in a fix on a Sunday due to a declined message

Today I was not able to use my credit card as it declined with a corresponding sms from fnb saying fica documents are needed. This is insane as I just used my card lastnight and transferred funds onto yesterday which is now not accessible. I have been banking with FNB for years and had my card replaced countless times to receive an sms due to a card declined message in public.

FNB please explain whats going on???
