FNB Card *****

Hello Peter,

I had a cheque account with FNB back in 2011, i was using the account to receive my salary. I lost my job in 2014 and was without income. my bank card got lost at some point, wherein i reported the matter to FNB. The person who got hold of my card used it to swipe toll gates all over south africa. FNB called me to say they are closing the card and the balance they will write-off was aroun R2000. i relaxed knowing the account was closed. recently i have received messages from lawyers saying i owe FNB R7500 and my bank charges were changed into a loan. I went to eastgate branch and a lady by the name of Faith assisted me and called head office, They said the case is being investigated by Sabelo Maseko and Busi from head office. i have tried to contact to follow up. i am transferred between call centres with no help. This is now affecting my business as i bank with FNB as well, I tried to say i can pay for my bank charges as long as they take out the toll gates, but they are not assisting me.
