FNB CAPTURED INCORRECT I.D. NUMBER !!!

My Late wife has a current account with FNB. This account number *** has been there for 20 years+. FNB has captured her I.D. number incorrectly. Since her death while waiting for letter of executorship. money still has to be paid into her account. A stockbroker for example verifies both account number and I.D. number before paying money into her account. The I.D. numbers don't match, so they refuse to pay money into her account. The branch says they cant corrrect this and it must go higher. A simple correction of the I.D. number with all the proof in front of them. FNB cant produce from a document from which they captured the incorrect I.D. number. In 20 years FNB hasn't re-verified the I.D. number. Like the Old Mutual case will it require taking a corpse to FNB offices?
