FNB cant close accounts

We have been trying to close all our accounts with FNB for some time, we managed to close our cheque account but cant seem to get the call account closed. You have to go into the bank and they tell you they cant help you, you phone the call centre and they tell you, you have to go into the bank. All we want to do is close the account.
