FNB cannot/will not help you
On the 5th of September my mother sent me an ewallet said ewallet is attached to an easy zero which I activated using my then boyfriends ID number granted one should never use another persons details, I erroneously assumed that I could deactivate it just as easily as I had activated it. We are no longer together and not on speaking terms to say the least. When I try to retrieve the ewallet through the USSD codes it says I am blocked. I went to a branch and was told that they meed him in person and even after I explained the situation it fell on deaf ears, if he were to know of the ewallet he would obviously make means to retrieve it for himself. The cellphone number that it was sent to belongs to me and I am told it cant be reversed either(how is that) in as much as I understand there are terms and conditions, they are attached to human beings, situations arent always ideal. Why cant it be understood that mistakes happen. When your systems are down and we are disorganised howsoever we understand because it was a mistake why cant the same grace be given to your clients. To think now my money will be floating wherever until goodness knows when is disheartening to say the least.
