FNB cancels cards that customers should pay for.
Today (13th of April 2018) at just after 9am my mother headed to the FNB atm at the FNB branch in the Golden Acre Mall, Cape Town. She inserted her card. Once inserted, a notification poppedup saying, it's out of service. A service consultant directed her into the bank. They then said her card has been cancelled and she'll need to apply for a new card. When asking who would carry the cost of the new card, the service consultant just shrugged her shoulders. Nobody requested to have the card cancelled, now my mom has to carry the unwarranted costs of the card due to bad service.
I'm appalled at FNB service these days. Treating the aged with such discord and disdain. If FNB cannot rectify this. I will head to the tabloids for their pathetic service and *****ery. R90 for a new card that FNB cancelled. Is this the new norm to make money out of its clientele???
If this matter is not resolved soon. We will take our business elsewhere and expose bad service practice on FNB's part.
